RADIO PROBLEMS
International Conference
Madrid, September 4.
Senor. Azana, Premier of Spain, welcomed 650 delegates to the International Radio Conference, including the Australian representative, Mr. J. M. Crawford. The Premier said that some who must have considered it dangerous to come to Spain at present would be able to witness the spectacle of a nation reborn, peacefully constructing a new regime. The conference is faced with a multitude of technical scientific questions, including the problem of confused and over-crowded conditions of the ether.
