NO PACIFIST
Mussolini’s Attitude Rome, August 5. “Fascism does not believe in the possibility or utility of perpetual peace and opposes pacificism, which implies renunciation of struggle,” declares Signor Mussolini in an article, appearing in “Popolo d’ltalla." “War alone develops the full force of human energy, forcing people to have courage to face it. Attempts to establish world peace are doomed to failure," The article attacks democracy as a regime without a king, but with countless kings more tyrannous than a single tyrant. Fascism denies that Governments can be organised by periodical consultation of the masses.
