Barometers have risen rapidly over eastern Australia. Winds fresh to strong northerlies at first, but a change to strong southerlies setting in shortly in the far south and extending over the Dominion during the next 24 hours. ... . ... Seas rough on the West Coast and about Cook Strait; elsewhere moderate but later rising. . Strong northerly winds backing shortly to strong southerlies m eastern Tasman Sea; seas rough. , , , ~ ~ . ... Weather unsettled with fairly general rain; at first mainly in districts with a westerly aspect but extending later to eastern districts; temperatures mild but becoming colder to-morrow.-
