Law Students to Hold Dance Every year the Wellington Law Students’ Society and the Victoria College Law Faculty Club collude in the giving of a dance. Tfie invitations are always clever and often amusing. This year’s invitation takes thq form of a “bluey” (summons), which “commands” the presence of certain persops to attend in the following terms :— “YOU and each of you are hereby commanded that ajl excuses being laid aside you and each of you be and appear in your own proper person before finjr member of the aforesaid committees in Wellington at any time before the 2nd day of September, 1932, AND purchase from them tickets for a BALL now depending In the ST. FRANCIS HALL on the 2nd day of September, 1932, AND to be instituted prosecuted and maintained by the aforesaid committees AND thereafter to attend at the said ST. FRANCIS HALL on the date aforesaid until you are lawfully discharged and the strains of music do cease. HEREIN FAIL NOT AT YOUR PERIL.”
