VALUELESS CHEQUES
Issued by Tw o Men HARD LABOUR IMPOSED By Telegraph—Press Association; New Plymouth, August 13. At the New Plymouth Police Court to-day Leonard Mayo and Robert Clive McQueen, both of Auckland, were charged with Issuing valueless cheques at Christchurch. Accused pleaded guilty and were sentenced to six months’ hard labour. They were also remanded to Auckland on charges of. fraud.
