LAUNCH WRECKAGE
Not Part of the Advance That the wreckage, which includes -art of a deckhouse 13ft. by 6ft., washed up near Black Head earlier this week, does not belong to the missing launch Advance is the opinion held by the officer of the Alarine Department at Napier, who has knowledge of the Advance, and was sent to endeavour to identify the wreckage. The officer’s full report is expected to reach the department at Wellington tills morning, and steps will then be taken to have the wreckage identified. The Advance left Napier on July 5 for Wanganui with three men on board, and has not since been seen or heard of.
