JUBILEE NEXT YEAR
Wellington Girls’ College FIRST PUPILS IN 1883 Stating that she is already considering arrangements for the celebration of the school jubilee at the beginning of next year, Miss V. M. Greig, headmistress of the • Wellington Girls’ College, wrote yesterday requesting the Board of Governors to approach their Excellencies to find out whether they would be able to associate themselves with the celebrations in some manner. "As far as ‘we can gather, the first enrolments at the school took place on February 2, 1883, and we should like the jubilee celebration to be held as near the proper date as possible,” Miss Greig stated. .;
