FLOWER VARIETIES
Fanciers Form Circles HORTICULTURAL SCHEME Flower circles, the members of which are fanciers of different varieties, are being formed by the Wellington Horticultural Society. ■ ■ . The first of the series is a begonia circle, a meeting being held recently. It was considered very satisfactory, and meetings to form a pansy circle under the leadership of Mr. G. C. Clarke, and.a rose Circle, to be led by Mr. J. J. Bell, will be held shortly. Mr. T. E. Y. Seddon is arranging for a rhododendron and azalea circle, and Mr. G. S. Nicoll tor •dahlia and sweet pea circles/' The society was entitled to the Loder Cup competition during the coming season, but has agreed to make it available to the National Flower Show to be held in Wellington next January, The National Flower Show committee is being asked to modify the rules for the coming competition by providing thdt the exhibits should be owned by the exhibitor for not less than five months before the competition takes place.
