PRE-OLYMPIC TEST
Japanese Runner’s 100 Metres Los Angeles, July 13. Takanori Yoshioka, of Japan, “served notice” on Wednesday that he must be reckoned with in the 100 metres at the Olympic Games. Racing under instructions to do the sprint in 11.3 seconds in his first test since landing, he made the fast time of 10.75ec., almost walking to the tape in doing so In Japan he is credited with having run the 100 metres in 10.5 seconds.
