Mrs. James Hay, Christchurch, is on a visit to Wellington. Mrs. C. W. Watkins, Wellington, is visiting Auckland. Miss Billie Mair, of Auckland, left by the Makura on Tuesday for a visit to Tahiti. Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Collins, Palmerston North, are visiting Wellington. Miss P. M. McClea, Christchurch, will leave Wellington to-day for Sydney and Colombo. Mrs. Sholto Douglas, of Oxford, England, who has been visiting various parts of New Zealand, is at present in Auckland. Mr. arid Mrs. J. B. Norris, Christchurch, ate at present staying with their daughter, Mrs. R. P. Fish, Seatoun. Mrs. H. E. Powell, Christchurch, will leave Wellington to-day by the Maunganui for Sydney, where she will spend a month’s holiday. Mrs. M. Gillies and Miss M. Gillies, Palmerston North; Mrs. J. J. Corry, Blenheim; and Miss Louise Stanley. Napier, are at the Royal Oak Hotel. Mrs. Kerr, of Carnoustie, Scotland, who had been visiting her daughter, Mrs. lan Mac Ewan, Auckland, is returning by the Remuera to England. Miss Crichton-Imrie, of Auckland, who recently returned from a visit to the East lasting 14 months, has arrived in Wellington for a short visit. Misses Bather and Cattley, visitors from England, who have been staying at the Hotel St. George, are leaving for Auckland this week. Mr. and Mrs. F. O. Andrews, Papanui, Christchurch, left Wellington by the Makura to spend a few weeks at Rarotonga. The following guests have visited The Chateau, Tongariro, during the past week: Mr. C. E.
