i Woman State Senator’s Death
New York, June 23.
A message from Briston, New Hampshire, states that Mrs. Maude Ferguson, the first woman State Senator elected by New Hampshire, and a delegate to the Republican National Convention at Chicago last week, was found shot dead in the yard of her home to-night. A medical referee, Dr. Garland, brought In a verdict that Mrs. Ferguson’s death was due io suicide.
