Sir, —We wish to briefly clear the position re Mr. P. Fraser, M.P.,. and .the “United Front” deputation which waited upon Mr. Coates. In the first place, Mr. Kelly was instructed by the executive to send the letter which appeared in the Press. Mr. Fraser was not an official member of the deputation, but according to Mr. Bracefield and Mr. Rodgera they did unofficially, and unknown to the full council, ask Mr. Fraser to have a watching brief on the deputation.—We are, etc., on behalf of the United Front.
