TEN-ACRE SCHEME

Progress in Taranaki SATISFACTORY WORK By Telegraph—Press Association. New Plymouth, June 23. Good progress is being made in North Taranaki with the 10-acre scheme. Four sections have been definitely secured, and negotiations are proceeding for about ten more, two or three of which require only formal consent for completion. More inquiries are being received about the adoption of a further scheme for placing sharemilkers on farms. This is expected to lead to the employment of men on farms which are at present too big to lie worked to the best advantage by their owners.
