British Biplane Can Carry 30 Men SWIFT AND POWERFUL By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. (Rec. June 15, 7.45 p.m.) London, June 15. A great new aerial troopship will be shown for the first time at the Royal Air Force display at Hendon on June 25. It is a bi-plane with a wing span of 90ft. It is fitted with four Rolls-Royce-Kestral engines ,and is capable of carrying '30 soldiers. It is also equipped with tackle for lifting sections of guns. The bi-plane is designed for the swift conveyance of troops and the rescue of isolated parties of civilians. It can easily be converted into a passenger air-liner.
