English League Team (Rec. June 15, 7.45 p.m.) Brisbane, .Tunc 15. The English Rugby League team suffered the lirst defeat: of its tour to-day when it met Brisbane. Tackling, passing and kicking like champions the Brisbane representatives held the visitors. The score was 15 all when a last-minute score by Jones clinched the wiu at 18—15. For Brisbane, Park, Neumann (2) and Jones scored. Lockie kicked two goals and Hogan one. For England, Ellaby, Woods and Davies scored and Hodgson kicked three goals.
