Crump Beats Bullivant RECORDS AT AUCKLAND By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, April 12. The re-swim of the 440 yards New Zealand intermediate championship, held at the North Shore Swimming Chili’s carnival at the tepid baths this evening between N. Crump (Auckland) and C. Bullivant (Wanganui) resulted in the former winning by S yards, the time being sniin. 30 3-ssec. Crump led by a yard at the end of the eleventh lap. after which he forged further ahead. The following records were broken :-- • 50 yards New Zealand men’s, held by E. McConville (Christchurch), time 25 4-ssec., lowered to 25 2-ssee„ by R. Frankhiun. Miss E. Rainey covered the 100 yards in 71 2-ssec., breaking her own New Zealand junior girls’ record by 3 3-ssec. S. G. Bridson failed by 2-ssee. to lower tin* 100 yards New Zealand record of 55 Lusec., held by Cameron, of AVellington. Miss M. Farquhar failed to break Aiiss E.
