PROFESSIONS AND PUBLICITY
The American Dental Association, at its annual convention, sanctioned a plan of advertising. The national campaign has, however, been held up, but through committees the association will approve and co-operate with the advertising efforts of local and regional dental societies. It is the declared object of the campaign to stimulate publicity on the part of dental organisations to instruct the public in modern methods of diet and care of the teeth. Advertising that is sponsored by professions with an aim to protect mid serve the public is surely not undesirable and the professions which cured to be concerned with it would surely have every reason to congratulate themselves in performing a public duly on what is proved to be the most effective lines.
