REVOLTING CRIME
Mysterious Double Murder BOTH BODIES FOUND (Rec. April 12, 9.30 p.m.) . Sydney, April 12. The body of Dorothy Denzil. who mysteriously disappeared with Frank Wilkinson last week, was found in a shallow grave this evening about two miles from the spot where Mr. Wilkinson’s body was found yesterday. Two soldiers from a remount depot were passing on horseback when one of the horses shied at a freshly-disturb-ed mound of earth among some scrub. The police were summoned aud found the girl’s body after very little digging. How she met her death has not yet been determined. Mr. Wilkinson’s features were almost unrecognisable owing to his fearful wounds. A shotgun had apparently been fired at close range. The police lire of opinion that he must have been killed when defending Miss Denzil, who was afterward killed. One of her stockings was used to tie Mr. Wilkinson’s bands behind him before death. Two hundred police are engaged in seeking a solution of the crime, which is regarded as a most revolting one.
