Mr. IV. Morton Paterson, managing director of Adams Bruce Ltd., has left for a thrqe weeks’ holiday at Rotorua. Mr. \V. R. Kemball, Wellington, returned by the Zealandia yesterday from a visit to Sydney. Mr. 11. G. Mayer was last night formally nominated by the Wellington Bowling Centro for Hie presidency of 4he New Zealand Bowling Council, and Mr. J. Kershaw was nominated as treasurer. Mr. H. N. Wilson and Mr. W. A. Fraser, Sydney ; Mr. A. Storry, Christchurch: Mr. J. Clifford, Mr. T. Williams and .Mr. E. Colledge, Auckland, are at the Hotel Grand Central. Mr. B. G. 11. Burn and Mr. C. D. Morpeth were appointed representatives of the Civic League on the Wellington Carillon Society at a meeting of the- league last Monday. Mr. J. W. Davys, principal of Derbyshire and Co., agents, Wellington, returned to New Zealand yesterday by the Zealandia after a holiday visit to Australia. Mr. P. R. Hanna, of Hie National Bank of New Zealand. Wellington, who has been serving a term at Hie London branch of the bank, was a passenger on the Zealandia, which arrived yesterday from Sydney. Mr. It. Alley, building inspector to the Shanghai Municipal Council, arrived In Wellington yesterday by the Zealandia on a holiday visit to New Zealand.
