Lawyer Wounded by Woman The wife of tin engineer in Rostock, Mecklenburg, Germany, recently showed her sympathy with her husband’s interests by attempting in court to shoot a lawyer who was bringing a case against him. After an excited hearing, iu the course of which the engineer is stated to have made a number of personal observations regarding bis opponent, the lawyer entered the witness box. He had just begun his evidence when a shot rang out and he collapsed with a bullet wound in his neck. The engineer's wife was iinniediately disarmed and carried off to prison. The lawyer fortunately was not: seriously hurt and resumed work later in the day.
