intermittent Rain at Wellington
Light rain fell at intervals in Wellington yesterday, and toward evening became steady. The temperature was mild, but: became cooler as the southerly wind freshened. Fine weather prevailed at Auckland, a light breeze having changed from the north-east to the south-west The weather at Christchurch wis dull with light showers at frequent intervals and a fresh breeze from the south-west. The maximum temperature was 56 degrees. The weather at Dunedin was very disagreeable and a steady drizzle fell throughout the morning and part of the afternoon, accompanied by an easterly breeze.
