Election of Officers At the annual meeting of the Wellington Hockey Club the following otlicers were elected:—President, Mr. W. G. Morpeth; vice-presidents, Messrs. R. L. Thompson, L. Boyd, N. Boyd, W. T. Richards, C. Martin, B. C. Ashwin, 11. C. Thornton, C. P. McKenzie. D. C. Armstrong; club captain, Mr. E. Guy; deputy captain, Mr. W. Lowery; hon. secretary, Mr. S. 11. Gnrder; assistant-secretary, Mr. .1. Frond: hon. treasurer, Mr. L. Avery; delegates to W.11.A.. Messrs. P. A. Joblin and K. Guy; committee, Mr. J. W. Newport and two others to be elected; auditor. Mr. C. W. Miller. The following officers for the coming season were elected at the annual meeting of the Iluia Hockey Club:—- President, Mr. S. G. Nathan; vice-president. Mr. A. M. Lewis; club captain, Mr. B. G. Yates; hon. secretary, Mr. 11. N. Ballinger; bon. treasurer, Mr. C. F. Donald: hon. auditor. Mr. C. V. Trcgurtli;i: delegates to the Wellington Hockey Association, Messrs. B. G. lutes and A. Fergusson; executive committee. Messrs. .1. Cashman, R. I. Keen and I). Chambers: grading committee. Messrs. ,1. L. McAlister, V, Dixon and C. F. Donald.
The Archbishop of Canterbury comes next in precedence to the Sovereign and his immediate family. Any Briton, no matter how humble his birth, may aspiro to the post.
