Petone Shows an Increase .Despite the present period of depression each year shows an increase in the amount received in subscriptions, etc., by the Petone Public Library. The librarian, in the annual report presented to the Petone Borough Council last night, stated that the revenue for the last four years had been £92/16/3, £ll6/16/-, £l3l/9/3, and £l4O/11/-. At the end of March the membership totalled 263 as compared with 250 for the preceding year, an increase of 13.
