Miss M. Allen, Wellington, is visiting Christchurch. Miss Hall-Jones, Wellington, is on a visit to Christchurch. • Mr. and Mrs. E. McMaster, Wellington, are visiting Christchurch. Mrs. J. Asher, Wellington, is spending a holiday in Auckland. Mrs. McLauchlan, Wellington, is Staying with Mrs. C. W. Parker, Blenheim. Mrs. Guy Batger, of Auckland, is the guest of Mrs. W. G. Reid, Wellington. Mrs. Kyle, Lower Hutt, has left, for a visit to Dunedin.

Jliss Verna Walsh, Te Puke, has returned home from a visit to Jlrs. 8. Dalgliesh, Longbush. Jlrs. P. Ferrier-Watson, who has been the guest of Jlrs. H. Kinder, Remuera, has returned to Lower Hutt. Jlrs. JI. H. Godby, Fendalton, who has been visiting Jlrs. T. Shailer Weston, Heretaunga, has returned to Christchurch. Mrs. Nelson Renall, Porangahau, Hawke’s Bay, is on a visit to her sister, Jlrs. Simon Dalgliesh, Rangataua, Longbush.

Dr. and Mrs.’ Douglas Anderson, of Christchurch, who have -been on a motoring tour of the North Island, returned south by the Picton ferry yesterday. Mrs. Stewart DalgUesh and her daughter Olga, who have been visiting Mrs. W. J. More, Martinborough, are now . the guests of Mrs. Simon DalgUesh, Longbush, Masterton. A very enjoyable bridge party was given recently to raise funds for the Residential Nursery, Owen Street, by the members of the Island Bay Circle of the W.N.R. at the residence of Mrs. W. J. Seabrook-Mason, The Parade, Island Bay. Over fifty guests were entertained and delightful tea was dispensed by the committee.
