Monowai’s Record Time
Sydney, April 9.
The Monowai’s voyage from Wellington to Sydney occupied 70 hours 35 minutes, beating the Maheno’s time of 72 hours 7 minutes, made in 1926. On Thursday night the Monowai fought a strong westerly wind.
