Vice-Regal. On Saturday afternoon her Excellency the Lady Bledisioe was present at a gathering of women held at tho Salvation Army Citadel, Vivian Street, at which .Mrs. General Higgins delivered an address. In the evening a number of members of both Houses of Parliament, with their wives, were the guests of their Excellencies at dinner at Government House. Tho Governor-General attended Divine Service at St. Peter's Church. Willis Street, yesterday morning, and in the afternoon their Excellencies attended, and his Excellency addressed, the Salvation Army meeting held in the Town Hall, Wellington, at which General Higgins delivered a lecture. This morning the Governor-General will preside at a meeting of the Executive Council. Lieut. V. F. Boyle, Timaru; Mr. W. Gledliill, Sydney; Mr. M. 11. Murray. Melbourne; Mr. F. Wade, Christchurch ; Mr. M. E. le Cron. Christchurch: Mr. A. B. Thomson. Auckland; and Mr. M Houlihan, Levin, are at the Midland .Hotel.
