Plot in Germany Revealed WHY NAZI GROUP FAILED London, March 25. The Berlin correspondent of the “Manchester Guardian” states that all doubts that the Nazis attempted civil war have been removed by the publication of Groener’s letter to the Prussian Government revealing that they planned to seize the weapons of the regular army. The authorities became aware that a plot was afoot and removed the bolts of the rifles. The coup d’etat was to have been attempted if Herr Hitler had been elected, but the result was his defeat.
