COLLIDED WITH CAR
Two Motor-cyclists Hurt WELLINGTON RESIDENTS Dominion Special Service. Palmerston North, January 14. Two Wellington motor-cyclists, Eric Barrett and Reg Smith, were admitted to the Palmerston North Hospital last night suffering from serious injuries received in a collision with a car near Ohau last night. . The two motor-cyclists were rounding .the church corner at Kuku, near Ohau, when they collided with a car driven by Mr. Julian Foster,' of Wellington, which was travelling south. Mr. Barrett, who was riding the cycle, received a compound fracture of the right le£, and Mr. Smith received a badly crushed right foot. Both men were treated by Dr. Thomoson at Levin and removed to the Palmerston North Hospital by ambulance. The motor-cycle was practically smashed to pieces, while the car was also, badly damaged.
