Widow’s Proud Record The proud claim that she has never had a road accident with her bt.ses is made by Mrs. A. E. McMinn, aged 62. of Staffordshire, who in face of fierce competition maintains an almos' uninterrupted daily service on the Potteries main bus route. Probably the oldest woman busowner in the country. Mrs. McMinn learned the'business from her busband, who died five years ago. Hers is now a one-woman business run with one bus. Mrs McMinn keeps all the'accounts. pays out wages, and attends to repairs. “You don’t make a fortune with buses these days.” Mrs. McMinn says. “Why some weeks all the profit and much more goes in repairs. I once paid out nearly £lOO a week in this way. But 1 have no intention of going out of business yet.”
