DASHED TO DEATH
Two English Air Pilots SON OF LORD TOMLIN (Rec. December 14, 7 p.m.) London, December 14. The Hon. George Tomlin, eldest son of Lord Tomlin, was killed while flying at Broxbourne aerodrome, In Essex. He intentionally went into a spin at 1000 feet, but failed to recover, and nosedived to earth. The machine burst into flames. Captain Baker, instructor of the Cardiff Flying Club, dived to death from 5000 feet. One of the club’s pupils, strapped behind Captain Baker, was desperately hurt, but Is alive.
