ANOTHER PERFECT DAY

Another perfect summer day was enjoyed by Wellington yesterday. A very light northerly was blowing at times.
Fine weather continued in Auckland yesterday, but the evening sky was cloudy and conditions unsettled. A moderate freshening wind was blowing from the north-east The weather in Christchurch yesterday was sultry, the thermometer recording 81.8 degrees. The wind varied from east-north-east to north and was fresh to strong. The barometer fell 16 points to 29.65 and became steady. In Dunedin there was a continuation of warm, sunny weather, with a fresh breeze from the north-east.
