Pinto to Meet Pasha No wrestling match in the history of Now Zealand within recent years, with the exception perhaps of the Pasha-Walker bout, has aroused so much Interest as that of the contest between Stanley Pluto and Karn Pasha, which will take place at the Town Hnll next Monday night. Since Pinto has been drawn with George Walker, and also defeated hint he is one of the biggest draw-cards in tho country, and his meeting with “The Turk” on Monday should result In a tine struggle between two great wrestlers. Pasha and Pinto have met twice previously, the Turk gaining the decision on one occasion and the other bout ending in a draw. Pinto has beaten Demetrnl, Higgins, Bannister, Pencheff, McDougall, and Walker In this country. Ho Is training very hard for the bout with Pasha, and is confident of beating the Turk. Pasha, who arrived back from Dunedin yesterday morning, after defeating Marshall there, states that lie Intends to take no chances with Pinto, and for that reason he will have to train harder than lie has done.
All those who wish to see the big bout would be well advised to book their seats early.
