TO BE OVERHAULED
Picton Ferry, Tamahine REPLACED BY ARAHURA The Union Company’s Wellington-Pic-ton ferry steamer Tamahine is to withdraw for annual overhaul and survey on her arrival at Wellington on September 12. Her place will be taken by. the Anchor Company’s Arahura, which is nt present laid up at Nelson. The Arahura will pick up the running from Wellington on September 14, and will continue in the service until her arrival at Wellington on September 22. The Tamahine will resume her running from Wellington on September 23. While in the Picton service the Arahura will leave Wellington on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 11 p.m., and Picton on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 11 p.m., arriving at Wellington about 4 a.m. the following day.
