Eighteen delegates from all over New Zealand were present when the annual meeting of the Council of the New Zealand Basketball Association opened here to-day. The president, Mrs. R. S. Mclnnes, was in the chair. The president, remarked that the finances wore in a healthy condition, but that the general work had not shown so much progress. It was decided that in future the scheme of voting at executive council meetings be one vote for ton teams, two votes for 25 teams, and a further vote for each additional 25 teams. Next year’s New Zealand tourney will be held'in Invercargill, and it was decided to hold it annually instead of biannually as in the past alternatively in each Island.
