YACHT’S ISLAND TOUR

Palatial Vessel at Samoa (By Radio—Special to Press. Assn.) (Rec. August 31, 7.30 p.m.) Apia, August 30. W. K. Vanderbilt’s 2000-ton motor yacht Alva, with a crew of 49 and six passengers, arrived at Apia this morning, and will leave on Tuesday for Pago Pago. The vessel will return to Apia on Friday and will leave for Suva on Saturday.

Mr. W. K. Vanderbilt is a directar of the New York Central Railroad Company, and a member of the New York Yacht Club
