Enjoyable Annual Dance A perfectly delightful evening was spent by those who attended the Civil Service Club’s annual dance. The decorations were carried out in the chib colours of blue and gold, and a lavish use of birch and daffodils made both the card-room and the ballroom look particularly attractive. The president, Mr. S. J. Collett, made a short welcoming speech, anil Mr. Bussell presented Mrs, Collett with a lovely bouquet. Mr. and Mrs. Bordman and Mr. and Mrs. Millburn sang one or two charming duets which received an ovation they well deserved.
The committee, who added to their other virtues by providing a magnificent slipper, comprised Messrs. S. J. Collett, president, W. H. Chittey, secretary, Tierney, Russell, Sullivan, Mclsaac, J : D. Smith, Bishop, Taylor and Captain King. Among those present were Mesdames Collett, Russell, Hal], King, Gill, Gibson, McMillan, Herbert, Chittey, Preston. Tierney, Miss Wilson and Miss Bishop.
