CLAIM FOR DAMAGES
Sequel to Collision Dominion Special Service Mnsterton, August 2d. A special sitting of the Magistrate’s Court was held at Grey town yesterday to hear the case of Austin and Austin v. Clinton Springfellow. The action was a claim for damages as the result of a collision between a motor-cycle and a car at the intersection of McMaster and Main Streets on February 17. The damages claimed were £7 for value of motor-cycle, £l2/10/- for lodgings, £4/4/- for medical expenses, £4/5/- for loss of wages, and £25 general damages. A counter-claim was lodged. Mr. 11. Lawson appeared for plaintiffs and Mr. 11. 11. Turton for defendants. After hearing lengthy evidence the Magistrate. Mr. J. Miller, S.M., reserved his decision.
