Mclntosh Does a Brilliant} Round i CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS The feature of the week-end golf waa a brilliant round of 68 by J. Mclntosh, ths professional, who took 34 each way on the Shandon course. This beat bogey by six strokes. Mclntosh, who went round with E. M, Boyd (18) returned the best card®, both 1 up on the colonel, and will require to play off. Poole baa been showing, consistent figures recently, and Boyd, who Is new to golf, la proving an apt pupil. In the second round of the senior championship, Bowring beat Bishop, 8 and 2; Hunter beat Melvin, 6 and 4; Ardell beat Poole, 1 up; Lovelie beat McCarroll, 1 up at the nineteenth. In the second round of the Intermediate championship, McCarthy beat Greager, 2 up; Johansen beat Murle, 8 and 2; Poole beat Lovelle, 3 and 2. In the second round of the junior championship, Porteous beat W. Rodger, 7 an 4 5; Stewart beat Couchman, 4 and 3; Joiner beat Hargreaves, 1 up; Johnston beat G. K, Brown, 7 and 6. Shandon Ladies* Club The medal competition played by the Shandon Ladlee’ Club during the week-end was won by Miss Hodgins, with 76 net. In the semi-final of the Sunflower Cup on Saturday, Miss Press beat Miss Ougbton, 6 up and 4 to go.
