WEATHER OVER WEEK-END
Changeable in Wellington Area
The weather in Wellington over the week-end was mainly fine, although there was much cloudiness and some rain. Saturday morning was sunny, b"‘ the afternoon was overcast, uith a slight shower of rain. After some heavy rain in'the night, yesterday was fine/ with a cold wind.
The weather was changeable at Auckland during the week-end. A light northeast wind and fine weather was followed yesterday by a boisterous westerly wind, with frequent showers.
At Christchurch on Saturday the weather was dull and ohilly, with some rain in the afternoon. Yesterday was sunny, but with a cold, southerly wind. The weather was bright and sunny at Dunedin on Saturday morning, but dull and overcast in the afternoon and evening. The wind was fresh from the north-east. There was little wind yesterday, but steady rain all night and during the (norning.
