WOMAN’S LEG IN BALE OF WOOL.
Queer “finds” in bales of wool .which come from all parts of the world, were recently loaned by merchants for exhibition at the Bradford wool fair. An artificial leg was once found in a bale, and the man who made the discovery wrote to the grower informing him of it. A letter of thanks was received in return saying that the grower's wife had lost her artificial leg and had been wondering where it had got to. Other articles include bricks, stones, hen eggs, chains, saddles, stirrups, and hatchets.
