On January 15, 1930, Germany had 3,092,000 .unemployed. On the same date this year the number had risen to 4,765,000. America has 6,000,000 wholly unemployed and 4,400,000 on part time. This is 23.8 per cent, of the industrial population wholly unemployed and 21 per cent, on part time.
