MASQUERADE PARTY

Interesting Costumes Worn Some interesting costumes were worn on Saturday night at a small masquerade given by Major-General and Madame Merlin at their house in Oriental Bay. Dancing and games provided excellent amuseme"t. and masks were removed before supper. A flat bowl o£ spring flowers decorated the dining table, where a hot and delightful supper was served. Madame Morfin, who was dressed in a genuine Dutch costume, received the guests in the hall. Among those present were:—Mr. and Mrs. E. P. Yaldwyn (“Powder and Patches”), Mrs. B.
