INJURED BY BULLET
Man in Serious Condition Dominion Special Service. Palmerston North. August 28. A single man. described as being tinemployed, whs admitted to the Palmerston North Public Hospital this evening suffering from a severe facial wound, part of his jawbone having been carried away by a shotgun bullet which is said to have been fired bv him in attempting to commit suicide. At a late hour this evening he was reported to be still unconeciou# and his condition lew. ‘
