Croydon School Bouts .■ f , The Croydon Schoo! annual boxing tournament was held in the school gym,, at Dav’s Bay fast week before . a largo gathering of parents and friends of tfi® pupils. In »U 19 bouts were contested, and the standard of boxing was of a high order. The results were as follow:— Urider 701b—First round: Stitchburr beat Schneideman; StruthWS beat Kegg; Faloon minor beat Gregory, Second round:, Struthers beat Faloon minor. Final: Struthers beat SHtchbiiry. '/' 801 b and under—First round: RaMey beat Lewie minor;. Spiers minor beat wood. Second round: CUffile beat Spiers minor. Final: Climle beat Rapley. ' 051 b and under—First round: CORIm beat Faloon maj.; Erics beat Kemwt Morrison beat Jacobson. Second ronqdt Morrffion Uit SkeUey: Brice beat Collins. Final: MOrrlson beat Brice. . / Over &51b-Flrst round: Washer beat Kain beat Cameron. Secpnd : ClevendOn beat Kain. Clarendon beat Washer. ' • Morrison, the winner of tlie 95 pounds and under class, Was declared the 'mojt scientific boxer at tho tournament. Mr. G. P. Aldridge was the reforest.
