South-westerly winds, fresh at times on the east coast of the North Island, but elsewhere moderate, veering soon to northerly in the south, and freshening northerlies shortly setting in generally. Seas rough between Cape Campbell and East Cape; elsewhere moderate in New Zealand waters. Moderate westerly veering to north-westerly winds In the eastern Tasman Sea, with moderate seas, but wind and sea rising In the southern portion.. i. uk.
