AMATEUR WRESTLING
Exhibition at Newtown St J Thomas’s Hall, Newtown, was packed tn Wednesday night on the occasion of the annual wrestling exhibition by the pupils of the Jenkins Physical .Culture School, Kilbirnie. I . The following amateur bouts were staged:— Bantamweight.—L. Drew defeated J. Rhodes. Midgets.—The Garwood twins, Les and Jim, gave an exhibition. Middleweights.—H. Chowns and C. Lowe drew. Lightweights.—R. Greeks and L. Boc drew. Featherweights.—N. Lucas and J. Bpiro drew. ■ ■■■■ Heavyweights.—G. McLaughlin defeated A. Gollan. s Light-heavyweights.—P. Awatere and V. Clapham drew. , Midgets.—J. and A. Mulholland drew. Lightweights.—M. Marchment defeated/. Dudley. Light-heavyweights.—K. Pajo and P. Razos drew. Bantamweights.—J. King and V. Hanlon drew. Featherweights.—T. Sullivan defeated H. Kllkolly. ~ T Welterweights.— B. Drury and J. Edwards drew. 1 Lightweights.—V. Bailey defeated C. Ross. Featherweights.—-J. Bowman defeated C. Southwood. Welterweights.—B. Calclnal defeated V. Sargent. Light-heavyweights.— J. Luke defeated J. Beasley.
