The opinion that trading conditions, between New Zealand and the United Kingdom would not be affected by the proposed elimination of the Empire Marketing Board, was expressed by Major C. B. Toms at the luncheon of the British (U.K.), Manufacturers’ Association, in Wellington, on Monday. Major Toms, who represents the shareholders who have purchased a controlling interest in Kirk-
