Vice-Regal. • The Governor-General, Lord Bledisloe, with Lady Bledisloe, attended the Rugby football match at Athletic Park on Saturday 'afternoon, and in the evening their Excellencies were present at the Daw-son-Hambourg concert in the Town Hall. Yesterday morning their Excellencies attended the service at St, John’s Presbyterian Church, and in the afternoon were present at the Toe H service at St. Paul’s Pro-Cathedrail. His Excellency will preside .at a meeting of the Executive Council this morning, and to-morrow morning he will open the annual conference of the New Zealand Farmers’ Union. ’ To-morrow afternoon he will deliver an address at a meeting of the League of Mothers in the Town Hall, and her Excellency will also be present. Lady Bledisloe will open the conference of the Women’s Division of the Farmers’ Union to-morrow morning. Mr. A. J. Arlidge, of Woodville, is visiting Wellington. Dr. E. W. Giescn went to the South Island on Saturday night. Major P. J. Cotton, Blenheim, is at the Grand Hotel, , Sir Alexander Herdman went to the South Island by the ferry steamer on Saturday night. Flight-Lieutenant J. D. Hewett, of Falcon Airways, Auckland, is at the Hotel St. George. Mr. W. Wallace, of Auckland, president of the Hospital Boards’ Association of New,Zealand, will arrive jin Wellington this morning on hospital business. Mr. I. H. Stewart, Auckland; Mr. B. Shell, Melbourne; Mr. A. .Cunningham, Masterton ; and Mr. G. A. Dawsnn, Christchurch, are at the Hotel St. George. Mr. R. Hood and Mr. R. Morrison, Auckland; Mr. P. Dennison,: Mr. L. R. Johnston and Mr. T. Brown, ChristchuJch. are at the Hotel Grand Central. ‘ Mr, M. C. Fairbrother, who has been assistant county clerk to the Masterton County Council, has received an appointment in Samoa, and leaves by the Tofua from Auckland on July 13. I Mr. W. J. Vernon has been appointed maintenance officer at the Magistrate's Court in succession to Mr. P. Pearson, who is now court crier at tie Supreme Court.

Mr. G. F. Dodds. Nelson; Mr. T. Reynolds. Auckland; Mr. P. Q, Bremer Waverley; Mr. O. Wilson, Bulls; and Mr. G. J. D. Stitt. Auckland, are at the Royal Oak Hotel.
Mr. H. Amos, president of the New Zealand Olympic and Empire (lames Association, is touring the Dominion in connection with the establishinent|of a fund to enable New Zealand to Ire represented at the Olympic Games at Los Angeles next year.
