In a sermon at St. James's Church, Lower ..Hutt, recently the Rev,, W. E. Davies explained the objects and ideals of Toe H, preparatory to the forming of a group in the valley. ■ Men caihe from Wellington to attend the service. ; Sonie three weeks ago the ceremony of lighting the lamp, was performed, and thus the Hutt Valley group was inaugurated, with the Rev. W.,E. Davies as its padre. . The group meets in a cottage in the grounds of Mrs. Kirk’s residence at Petone.
It has commenced work in the valley by delivering meat to those in need every Saturday, and for the purpose a sheep is given weekly by farmers in the district.
