Belmont Church Club , A successful concert was held recently at the Belmont Anglican Church, when members of the Belmont Church Club, trained by Miss Phillips, and . helpers gave a programme of sketches, ' pianoforte items, songs, and choruses. - . . . The pavilion was decorated with, autumn borrles and white Spring flowers, red and White being the club’s colours,. , • ' Bridge and “500" were played, the winners of the former being Mrs. Taylor first and Mrs. Salt second. The Winner of the hidden prize was Mrs. (Ball. Mrs.'Warburton gained first prize, in; “500,", and Mrs. Hunier second. Afternoon tea was served, and during the afternoon Mrs. Andrews, on, behalf of the club, thanked Mrs. Walker and Mrs. McGill for the enjoyable afternoon.
